Lakita Garth-Wright
Presented The Naked Truth
Lakita Garth Wright is a social commentator, media consultant,
and professional entertainer in Los Angeles. She has spoken to
millions of teenagers through motivational assemblies across the
United States, and internationally. Lakita is a versed and noted
speaker on various issues such as race relations, politics,
feminism, and AIDS and is one of the country's leading
abstinence advocates.
Lakita has testified before the U.S. Surgeon General and the
U.S. Senate in Washington D.C. on teen pregnancy prevention. She
has contracted and consulted internationally on the continent of
Africa and in the Caribbean as well as with over a dozen United
States' federal, state, and county health departments on teen
pregnancy, AIDS/HIV, STDs, and the impact of the media on
adolescent behavior. Garth represented the state of California
as a runner-up to Miss Black America. She has appeared on
various commercials and television shows such as, Politically
Incorrect, the Image Awards, MTV, and BET. In addition, Lakita
Garth consulted and hosted UPN's Emmy-nominated show "The Truth
About Sex." She has also been a voting member of the Academy of
Television Arts & Sciences and is a board member of an
influential Film & Television Commission in Los Angeles.
After attending the University of Southern California and
earning a Bachelor's of Science degree, Lakita received an
honorary doctorate degree from Aspen University. She is also a
recipient of the National Patrick Henry Award for outstanding
achievement in activism for youth.
Lakita spoke at six area middle/high schools. Pictured above is

from Southern California. He is a dynamic speaker and
personality and has a phenomenal message to share with students. He is sponsored by the Ambassadors
Speakers' Bureau and has been
associated with other Abstinence organizations such as Club
Varsity. Luis spoke at 11 of our Right Choices' schools in
Spring 2007.

a
result of making poor choices and following the wrong crowd.
